Is March the month for women?March 8th is globally celebrated as International Women's Day to recognize the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Please make sure to celebrate your day on March 8th!In Japan, people celebrate Girl’s Festival on March 3rd. This festival is known as “Doll’s Festival” to pray for the health and happiness of young girls. People display graceful dolls in ancient court costumes on a tier of 5 or 7 shelves covered with scarlet cloth. Traditionally these dolls are handed down from mother to daughter. This was my favourite festival when I was growing up in Japan. I felt so special and proud to be a girl. So please do take time to celebrate girl’s day on March 3rd!So YES, March is the month for women! Let’s celebrate because we absolutely deserve it!!March is another busy month for BAMBI.
