Dear members,It has been a few very hectic but very interesting and fulfilling weeks after Emma and I were voted in as Vice-Chairwoman and Chairwoman, respectively. We are very excited and happy to collaborate our efforts to support our members.I have been on the BAMBI committee about 6 years now, in different positions such as event assistant, new members coordinator and Japanese coordinator. Since I joined BAMBI a few days after I moved to Bangkok, our family grew up with BAMBI and BAMBI has been an absolute integral part of my life. I met very important friends through BAMBI, learnt expat life through BAMBI…Now it is time for me to share my experience with all of you, hoping I can be of some help for your life in Bangkok.Recently, I’ve been inviting different speakers and organizing events for BAMBI, including organizing the Splash Party in April, the charity event with Always Reading Caravan, and the Hip Hop Playgroup in May. Organizing events are not always easy but BAMBI is a resourceful, professional and helpful organization, whose volunteers all work with the common goal of creating a comfortable and fun environment for families in Bangkok. I am so fortunate to be in this organization and to work closely with BAMBI volunteers. And most importantly, looking at the members who are enjoying these events and playgroups that BAMBI offer makes me feel great. This has been my motivation to continue to work in BAMBI.Last but not least, I would like to thank Nimphiya who took care of our Facebook and PR as a great Media Coordinator and Roshni who has been supporting BAMBI volunteers day and night as an efficient Secretary. They are going to be missed so much in our organization but I would like to wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors. Also thanks to Vana for stepping up to be New Members’ Coordinator and Josephine who switched her position to Media Coordinator. I am looking forward to working closely with you.I know it’s cliché but life is too short, I firmly believe in enjoying every moment. I will try my best to bring more smiles into our community.
