Dear BAMBI members,Welcome to December, the festive month of the year! It’s definitely my favorite month with preparing for holiday shopping, planning of vacation and eating and drinking for the coming year!! But December is also the time to look back on what you have done and accomplished in the year. In case of BAMBI, we had a super busy year in 2017 by opening new playgroups, increasing the number of pop-up playgroups, organizing charity events, and adding new activities for BAMBI members to enjoy. There are always trials and errors, and it has been a challenge to increase the volume of activities. However, we are so lucky to have such devoted 60 volunteers to make this year successful!Here are the highlights of our new initiatives in 2017:Playgroups: Ekkamai Playgroup @ Bright Skies, Green Thumb Playgroup @ IPC Green, Sathorn Playgroup @ La Petite Ecole, Bearing Playgroup @ St Andrews, Little Bird Playgroup @ Blue Parrot, Novotots Playgroup @ Novotel Sukhumvit 20A big thanks to Bao Minh Lam and Playgroup leaders for their commitment and hard work.Bumps and Babies: Weekend Bumps and Babies @ Steps with TheeraA big thanks to Emma McNerlin and the Bumps and Babies team for their contribution.Activities: Cooking ClassA big thanks to Tatiana Skovoronskaia and her Activities Team for their dedication.Pop-up Playgroups: @ IPC Green, Shrewsbury, Bright Skies, Bangkok Pattana, Outdoor School Bangkok, NIST International School, Little Footsteps A big thanks to Vana Kasemsri and her New Members/Pop-up PG team for their great effort. In 2018 we are planning to launch more playgroups, pop-up playgroups at new venues, and new activities and events to make your Bangkok life more fun and exciting! If you have any suggestions on location or activity, please let us know. We are totally open to any suggestion. Actually, some of the new playgroups we opened in 2017 were based on the requests from our members! Also we are currently under the process of rebuilding our website. Hopefully the new and user-friendly website will be available in early 2018. Thank you, Emily Geglia and Gloria Pino for leading the project.Before the year ends, BAMBI is thinking of holding special holiday playgroups. Please make sure to check our Facebook!
